I already have a cycling and rowing blog, and so not to mix them up with my professional life too much I have this other blog for the science part of my life (there may be intersections with my private life...)

Education!
PZ has an excellent post about Dawkins' new book and the importance of education and knowledge. But almost better is this comment! I agree, onwards through the fog (for those of us living in the US!)
Originally hailing from Denmark I was postdoc'ing outside of DK from early 2002 till late 2007; first in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and then in Bangor, Wales, UK. I then worked for 6 years in Seattle for a company building instrumentation for ocean science and environmental monitoring. I currently works as as system sales manager for an underwater technology company in SW-Denmark. I spend most of my spare time on the road on my hand- and custom-built Roberts long-distance bicycles. This is a long-term attempt to shed some weight, see where I live from a cyclist's perspective and get in shape for ultra-long cycling events. I also try to do some rowing and running...
